It's so crazy when someone who is really close to your heart is having a baby. Your heart
is with them from the moment you know that they are pregnant, through the happy and
the heavy times that come with that pregnancy when that baby is still just a thought
and a name, to the moment of it's birth and beyond. It feels so surreal, when you actually
hear and see it for the first time. Suddenly everything you've talked about so much becomes
breathing realty. And then, when you watch this baby taking it's first steps, still on your
friends hand, but already quite secure, you just stand there unable to move because it feels
as if your heart would flood your body with all that love and proudness that it has inside
and you are drowning on the inside.
